To our Valued Customers,
The health, well-being, and safety of your pet, our clients and our staff is our top priority. Bennetts Creek Veterinary Care and Bennetts Creek’s Home Away From Home will be transitioning from curbside only service to a combination of curbside and seeing patients/clients in clinic. For those clients that are more comfortable with curbside service, we will continue to provide appointments in this manner at your request. As always, if you are actively sick or running a fever, please reschedule your wellness exams. If your pet is ill, please consider having another person bring the patient to the clinic.
While we will be allowing customers into the clinic during exams, we will still practice social distancing and limit our customer face-to-face interaction. For customers that prefer to be present during their pet’s exam, BCVC has developed the following protocol.
One customer, preferably the decision-maker for the household, will be permitted into the clinic. We request the customer call the front desk to advise us of their arrival while waiting in their vehicle until the doctor is ready to see the patient. If you are unable to limit the interaction to one household member, with the exception of Euthanasia, we will continue our curbside service for your pet’s appointment.
We will continue to send exam questionnaires to each client that will need to be returned prior to their appointment.
All clients entering the building will be required to wear a facemask. Facemasks will not be provided and customers will need to supply their own. If a client does not have a facemask, we will continue curbside service for their pet’s visit.
A forehead temperature check will be conducted by a staff member for all clients entering the facility. If the client is running a fever, we will have the client return to their vehicle.
We ask that clients stay in the exam room during their appointments. We will initiate payment while you wait in the exam room. Keeping our practice “hospital-clean” has always been a priority for us and we are disinfecting all surfaces after each client contact. Limiting exposure will allow us for quicker turnaround time for the next customer.
For prescriptions and food pick-ups – call the front desk and a staff member will meet you at the front door. All efforts will be made to provide the best of service while still trying to maintain social distancing. All staff members are required to have their temperatures checked prior to entering the building. Recently, due to a staff member’s family member testing positive, COVID 19 testing was conducted on the entire staff and an extensive sanitizing of the facility was performed. All results were negative!! Thank you for your patience and cooperation. We look forward to seeing you and your pet soon.
